My uni is exhibiting at Graduate fashion week this year and I’ve really enjoyed having a BRIEF look around in the time I’ve been there so far. Why brief you ask? Well, today I went to DeMontford’s contour show which showed lingerie and swimwear from this years graduating students. Here are some images from the show.

After a long immersion into the final year of study and development of my graduate collection, I am giving in to my blog-cravings and using this post as a brief update but also to launch my website www.bryonyweston.com It’s a working process at the minute so be gentle with me! But, in time, will have images of my collect, extracts from my dissertation and imagery from recent styling jobs. In the meantime, The following is a sneak peek at the first piece made for my graduate fashion collection.
Hello! And huge apologies for my silence over the last few weeks, I am back at uni and studying like crazy. I thought I would share some of my latest moodboards for the penultimate project before designing my graduate collection. This is a kind of pre-collection so the concept and overall mood will continue to my final pieces. The concept is retro-futuristic sports-luze which continues from some projects I did last year. I am referencing architectural curves and will play around with layering and pleats to create structural designs.
It’s collaboration season for the millionth time at H&M. Following in the footsteps of Madonna, Comme Des Garcons and Lanvin, we have French RTW designer Isabel Marant. Her designs are always really wearable which will work well for the H&M customer unlike the unfortunate, unsellable Margiela collab, which still crops up in their online sales.
Channeling her trademark bohemian vibe, the collection is shown on such fitting faces as Lou Doillon and Milla Jovovich. There is also a menswear and teenswear collection including accessories. Eyes on the gorgeous tassel boots and oversized grey coat! Available in stores from November 14th…. but for how long?
